Getting your pension fund started

As soon as you turn 18, your pension fund will automatically start building for your future.

Job changes – resignation

Every employer is free to choose their own pension fund. What is important is that you take your pension savings with you as a vested benefit.

Unpaid leave

Did you know that you can use your pension fund to insure against the risks of death and disability for up to two years?

Marriage and family

Your employer will notify the pension fund when your marital status changes from «single» to «married». At this time, your current total pension savings will be recorded.

Divorce

Any pension contributions you made while married are divided equally between you and your spouse. This also applies to separation within a registered partnership.

Make your dream of living in your own four walls come true. BVK offers three different options to help you finance your dream home: mortgage, advance with drawal or pledging of your pension funds.

Disability benefits

Of course, we want you to enjoy a long, healthy life. However, it is good to know that if fate does strike, your pension fund provides disability insurance and you will receive a pension no matter what.

Retirement

A major stage in your life is coming to a close. For the pension fund, this means that you change from a customer making contributions to a customer receiving a pension.

Pension

You receive your pension paid out month after month, punctually and reliably. We will also send you your tax statement every December.

Death

Death is part of life. However, it is good to know that the money you saved in your pension fund is not simply lost.
